Education Voters Institute (EVI) is committed to protecting your privacy on the Internet. EVI's privacy policy reflects our strong commitment to respecting any information you choose to share with us. We use the information you provide to send you news and information about EVI and to credit those who are organizing support for EVI. We will not sell your information to any third party, under any circumstances. We do work closely with other allied organizations. If—and only if—you give your consent, we may exchange some basic contact information with them, pursuant to law, and they may contact you.

Contributions

Education Voters Institute is a nonprofit, tax-exempt corporation under Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code. Contributions may be tax deductible. (Check with your own tax advisor.) To make a contribution online, we also ask for your credit card number and its expiration date

“Tell A Friend” Feature

EdVotersInstitute.com makes it easy for you to spread the word about EVI with its “Tell A Friend” feature. When you use the “Tell A Friend” feature, the addresses of those you are communicating with are not added to our lists and they will not be contacted by the campaign unless they actually come to the site and register themselves.

IP Addresses and Log File Data

IP addresses are the location of your computer or network on the Internet. We log them for troubleshooting purposes, and to track which pages people visit in order to improve the quality of the site. We do not use the information to develop individual profiles.

Changes to the EdVotersInstitute.com Privacy Statement

EVI may modify or amend the statement in the future, to better protect your information. If there are material changes to the statement, we will prominently post such changes prior to implementing the change. Regardless of later updates, we will abide by the practices described in the statement at the time you provided us with your information.
